GYNAECOLOGIST TREATING INFERTILITY ARRESTED IN THANE ON CHARGE OF RAPING A PATIENT

The police said before the media that the accused doctor is assisting another surrogacy specialist doctor who runs a fertility centre in the Naupada area and has been in practice for around 10 years.According to police, the 21-year-old victim is a housewife and a resident of Dharavi and had gone to the doctor attached to the fertility centre to get surrogate services. "On Friday around 7.55 pm, while she was being examined in a room, the accused doctor applied some kind of gel to her private part, stripped her naked and raped her," said the officer quoting the complaint by the victim.
"When the accused forced himself on her, the woman raised an alarm. However, the doctor is alleged to have overpowered her, held her mouth and raped her," the officer added.The victim also stated in her complaint that the doctor threatened that if she tells anyone about the incident, she will face the consequences.A case was registered with the Naupada police, following which the doctor was charged under IPC sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation), the police said.
The woman has been sent for a medical examination and the accused was produced before a magistrate on Saturday and has been remanded in police custody till August 22, the officer said.
"It's a sensitive case and we are investigating it from all angles," said a police official privy to the investigation.

As reported by LIVE electronic media and almost all printed media ,one report is making headlines today that a Gynaecologist providing infertility and surrogacy treatment was arrested in thane on charge of raping a patient who is a house wife came to him in clinic for treatment.
As on first instance every doctor and common person will believe that Doctor has done crime so he must be punished vigorously and severly as he did such shameful criminal highly regrettable and commendable sin of raping a woman and that too with his patient in his clinic.His act offended all humanity and the whole medical profession as he blackend the face of such profession which is always noble,helpful and assistant to patient to take over one's disease,anxiety and sorrowness never in any form pain inury ,disrespect or dishnour to patient can be thinked from such profession.

But in one remote corner seeing few instances of blackmailing incidences of so called rape as why a Doctor practising since so many years of Gynaecological practice will call a lady in his clinic and will choose this place to rape as every chance of being caught ,severe punishment and even closure of his whole practice is present here.so if otherwise something comes the media and administration will be responsible as causing homicide of that Doctor who is innocent but black spots and derogatory charges put against him as they release and publish his full name with clinic address beside arresting him in open day light.
