HIV /AIDS TREATMENT IS VERY COSTLY while most of HIV /AIDS patients in Indi are very poor or lower middle class usually so many patient seeks treatment late as diagnosis is costly in private sector and many patient either donot know ART CENTRES OF ICTC CENTRES so does come here late or donot want to come here as due to stigma and discrimination .Thirdly only a limited doctor are HIV / AIDS SPECIALIST so good treatment is lacking.
ART centres run by STATES AIDs society UNDER NACO are doing good job of testing free of cost but only CD4 COUNT IS DONE no viral load or other required blood tests like CBC,LFT,RBG,KFT,LIPID PROFILE,HEPATITIS B ,HEPATITIS C testing is not done. So patient has to spend a lot and mostly earning member becomes patient all earning comes to very low so usually ptients lack regular checkup,rest and good nutrition so many patients becomes weak ,many do leave treatment as moved out for searching job or earning so leave tretment but here too they can reigster in new ART CENTRE and can get HIV /AIDS TREATMENT.
MANY PATIENTS are themselves drug injectors or gay with men to men sex offenders,commercial and flying sex workers engaged in filthy sex practice for their livehood or suffer from stds and other diseases.But BLood contamination has been controlled by mandatory check of HIV in blood banks but many patients are admitted and operated all over INDIA WITHOUT CHECKING HEPATITIS B,HEPATITIS C ND HIV so spread of these disease is high.
in case of pregnant womans all are checked for HIV IN tertiary medical college and district hospital but in private or phc or subcentre it is not done so pregnant lady usually not provided medicines so their condition and condition of new born is very bad.Newborn are hardly tested and feeding them hiv medicines is mostly theoretical so death and morbidity is very high in 1-2 yrs of age after this at many good centres child is provided HIV/AIDS MEDICINES BUT REGULAR CHECKUP AND FOOLW UP IS NOT THAT STRICT.
Secondly now IN MOST ART CENTRES AND LINK CENTRES ALL PATIENTS BELOW 350 are provided ARV MEDICINES and regular adherance is achieved and screening for TB AND PNEUMONIA IS DONE but drugs are mostly ZIDOVUDINE,LAMOVIDINE,TENOFOVIR,EFAVIRENZ AND NEVIRAPINE,PROTEASE INHIBITOR IST,2ND,3RD LINE DRUGS ARE NOT PROVIDED AND NO TESTING OF VIRAL LOAD OR DRUG SENSITIVITY IS NOT DONE SO RECURRENCES AND DRUG RESISTANT CASES ARE HIGH AND SO OPPURTUNISTIC INFECTIONS IF OCCURS PTIENT HARDY GET OVER IT AS DUE TO HIGH COST OF MEDIICNES AND CARE AT HOSPITAL.IN PRIVATE MOST HOSPITALS INDIRECTLY DONOT WANT TO TRET HIV/AIDS PATIENTS EVEN IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL TREATMENT IS DENIED INDIRECTLY HIDING UNDER MEDIA GLARE BY MAKING ONE OR OTHER REASON.
SO CONDITION OF HIV /AIDS POOR PATIENTS IS VERY BLEAK IN INDIA,SOCIETY HARDLY ACCEPTS THEM ONLY TO SHARE GLOBAL FUNDS MANY NGOS HAS BEEN OPENED WHO LOOT GOVERNMENT FUND IN CONNIANCE WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND POLITICIANS ,ADMISNISTRATOR VISIT FOREIGN COUNTRIES,SPEND NIGHTS IN LUXURY HOTELS PREPARE FALSE REPORTS IN INTERNATIONAL SEMINARS MOSTLY ORGNISE HOLY BOLLY WOOD STAR FUNCTIONS TO TAKE MEDIA COVERAGE but on road hardly an effort is made to save dying HIV /AIDS PATIENTS.DATA PROVIDED BY GOVERNMENT APPEARS FAKE AS WIDE PREVALENT OF SEX IN SOCIETY IN EVERY NEWS PAPERS,TV,SOCIAL SITES PORNOGRAPHY AND SEX IS SOLD OPENLY,HIGH ECONOMIC CONDITION INVITE ILLICIT RELATIONS,SEXY PARTIES ,DRUGS,ALCOHOL ALL TERMINATING IN UNSAFE SEXLEADING OR PRONE TO HIV/AIDS AND SEX TRANSMITTED DISEASES.
GOVERNMENT SPENDS LITTLE ON HIV MOSTLY RSTS ON BILL GATES,OBAMA,CLINTION FUNDS ,TERTIARY SECONDARY MEDICINES,VIRL LOAD DRUG SENSITIVITY TESTS,RIGHT OF HIV PATIENTS,CLOSURE OF DARCONIAN DRUG PEDDLING AND CRIMINALISATION OF LGBT,HINZRAS ALL BLOCK EARLY DETECTION AND CURE OF HIV PATIENTS IN INDIA.
