Indian Doctors are facing s much problem in continuing their Medical profession that they are not satisfied with it as evident by fllowing study. The medical course it self is very tiring starting from getting admission in it.Due to emergence of Pvt medical Colleges, corruption  in admission starts from entrance examinations, prir to NEET BY Superme Curt, all entrance examinations were fake and students were selected on the basis of donatins in lacs to crore for MBBS to PG seats, only criteria was money,so poor and mediocre students were rejected openly.Even after NEET even in institute like AIIMS papers are leaked, examination rigged ,so how many justified admission are taking place is a question.
The regulating body of Medical Education is highly controversial, being its past president arrested for recognising Medical Colleges by taking bribe in crores for recognising Medical Colleges having no adequate medical teachers, many present as Ghost teachers,No adequate facilities of Labs, instruments, class rooms,ICU,OTs and few number of patients treated and operated but list is prepared fake and erroneous on papers .Even this time Oversight committeee appointed by SC questioned that Many inspectors were sent multiple times to inspect few  Medical Colleges which has been recognised with questionable standard ,so if a fresh enquiry or inspections by neutral MCI Inspectors is done, few recognitions will be cancelled,Health Ministry is taking shots and opening new PG seats to correct Doctor patient ratio and forcing MCI to increase MBBS and PG sets overlooking facilities,Therefore such Doctors although admitted and passed by money  but having little or no knowledge to practice.
MBBS is not complete, one has to do PG and POST PG,MCH or DM course to be adequately treat patient and to get recognition in society,Government jobs are few or are being given in remote villages where no good facilities of further education, staying and bringing up family is present so Doctors donot want to go there.A education  course of 10-12 years with all youth period burnt amid hard work for round the clock with little payment ,stress of passing examinations and facing assualt by roudy public in hospital and nursing home with little recogniton in public ,unemployment and nn availability of PGs due to corruptions all lead to greater dissatisfication in mind of young doctors and so many families even that of Doctors donot like that their children opt for medical courses.    The study, conducted by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), found that about 82.7 per cent of doctors in India are stressed out in their profession.
The study, conducted by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), found that about 82.7 per cent of doctors in India are stressed out in their profession.
Fear of violence is the main stressor in many doctors (46.3 per cent) followed by fear of being sued (24.2 per cent) and fear of criminal prosecution (13.7 per cent).
The findings come in light of the many atrocities faced by the medical fraternity, the most disturbing of which includes violence against doctors and their criminal prosecution. The anxiety of doctors over the issues plaguing the profession is evident by the fact that about 56 per cent of them do not get a comfortable seven-hour sleep most days of the week..
Conducted online over a period of 15 days, the survey received responses from 1,681 doctors including general practitioners, physicians, surgeons, gynaecologists and super specialists working in private OPDs, nursing homes, corporate hospitals and government hospitals."It is an eyeopener on the extent to which doctors have been affected. About 62.8 per cent of the doctors surveyed are unable to see their patients without any fear of violence and 57.7 per cent have thought of hiring security in their premises,.The  results prove the fact that doctors are not very happy with what they are doing and a large part of it is due to lack of patient trust in them. The emotional, mental, and physical attacks on doctors are at an all-time high. More than half of the doctors surveyed indicate that they suffer from increasing anxiety.
"A sizable chunk does not want their children or grandchildren to take up this profession. Most doctors are of the opinion that while they chose medicine because it was worthwhile and noble, the profession has been reduced to nothing but a charade today.," The study  said.

The study further stated that a large number of doctors suffer from blood pressure and diabetes. Another notable factor is that about 76.3 per cent also get anxiety quite often. As per a nationwide study conducted by IMA earlier, doctors face maximum violence while providing emergency services, with as many as 48.8 per cent of such incidents reported from intensive care units (ICUs) or after a patient undergoes surgery. The main reason reported behind such violence is unnecessary investigations or delay in attending to a patient.
