Fake and Quack Doctors are blot on whole nation,what a damage they are doing to our people cannot be estimated by any scale as they are killing human beings openly .The said part of these killers lie in fact that they are present everywhere,they practice openly in heart of big metro cities like Delhi,Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai etc beside in almost in every town city,village and kasba of our country,most nearby people r police administration or Health officer know them but donot take action as they got bribe from them.
Supreme court and many High courts has many times ruled loudly and clearly that any person possessing degree of any other pathy if practice modern medicine than he or she is quack but in our country most small to big hospitals under direct protection of their supervising Doctors appoint these Doctors of other pathies as their RMOs,ICU or Emergency Medical Officer or administrators as Assistant MS .Many specialist doctors work under these quacks in their hospitals opened illegally with false certificates. So how administration or Government can prevent it and arrest them?
But as government is really concerned ,as West Bengal Government did in last two months as instructed by Chief minister,The CID wing of Police of West Bengal has identified over 500 fake doctors practising in government hospitals and private clinics in West Bengal.They identifies 06 Institutes of alterante medicine who were distributing such fake certificates to many doctors against hefty money illegally.Till now many doctors have been arrested working in big private hospitals ,one even honoured by president of India and many working even in Government setup.Almost daily few are being arrested.
As Chief minister is taking shots for popularity of nobel work by arresting quacks ,Cid Police With back to back cases of fake doctors bring reported in West Bengal is now getting more tough in dealing with these quacks. Various Media reports point out that besides being charged under the various section of the IPC that deal with cheating, fraud and quackery, these fake doctors are also going to be charged under harsher penal provisions including culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy.Doctors are arrested and aresubmitted before court with stringent IPC sections Court immediately send them to jail custody ,as a result many fake and quack doctors,ayush doctors and Rmps have shut their shop left government jobs acquired illegally.
Such action against these fake and quack Doctors is needed all over India,all state and central government should take lesson from West Bengal and should instruct Police under them to search it vigorously and actively and then book them under criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide act as done in West Bengal so that people can get good treatment and get rid of such quacks who for minting money playing with life of persons.MCI,Health Ministry of State and central Government, IMA and their Medical Associations should discard Hospitals and doctors who appoint Ayush Doctors in Modern Medicine hospitals and allow them to kill patients by giving public view that these are modern medicine doctors as these Doctors wear aprons put stetho around their neck but no name plate or in hospital there is neither their name on any board nor any their degree.
If Doctors will protect quacks then eradication of such quacks from our society is almost possible.Most of Doctors associated with these hospitals or living near by such hospitals but they never report it to police or send information to MCI or higher up in Health ministry or administration.IMA also react selectively on such reporting ,therefore quackery is a business of crores in India where thousands are killed but as money is minted so every thing is accepted and every ethics is forgetted by those who lead doctors and inspire others.
