City police commissioner, of Mangaluru in a press conference said that Police is searching the other accused, Rakesh, in the case in which a senior doctor of a reputed hospital in the city was pressurized to cough up Rs 14 lac, and the lady involved with the crime.The police have arrested Narayana Salian (52) from Someshwar, as well as Muhammed Ranji (23) and Sadiq (30), both from Ullal, in the case. One of the accused, Ranji who is known to the said doctor had lured a doctor of a leading hospital by laying honey-trap by sending a beautiful lady to him. With the help of a lady, he was asked to visit a spot in the city from where he was abducted and taken to a room at Someshwar. He was denuded there and his photos in the company of the lady in different postures were taken. By threatening the doctor of posting these pictures in social websites, the gang had forced him to pay Rs 14 lac to them. After they came up with demand for more money, the doctor had filed police complaint in Kadri station. From Jaipur,A 21-year-old girl, Shikha Tiwari, working as a disc jockey (DJ) at a Mumbai hotel, was arrested by the special operations group (SOG) of the state police for allegedly blackmailing and framing a city-based hair transplant doctor in a bogus rape case in December last year.The SOG has been tracking her since December 2016 when her name cropped up after sleuths busted a honeytrap racket which was into blackmailing doctors, builders and others in the city .She had blackmailed the doctor and lodged an FIR against him, resulting in the former spending 78 days in jail before being acquitted. in Year 1975 in Delhi,a gang of five women with their so called husband blackmailed 05 Doctors of Delhi and snatched about crores of rupees as per DCP west Mr Puspendra Kumar after arresting these women as they were running a gang to honey trap doctors and on charge of rape were extorting hugh money..Two female Members come for treatment to a middle aged popular doctor of Pitampura in Delhi.They falls for the middle-aged healer and, one day , asks him out. He agrees. They meet at his house one evening and sparks fly ... This is where the romantic storyline ended for a west Delhi doctor — and the nightmare began.As the doctor was dropping off the women to a taxi stand, he was accosted by another couple and beaten up.The women then demanded Rs 50 lakh for not framing him in a rape case. The doctor paid Rs 20 lakh but pressure drove him to attempt suicide. He finally approached Hari Nagar police. Therefore,it is high time that all doctors remain conscious of such thugs and traps at every time in their practice both in Private and Government Hospitals.It is very easy to contact with Doctors as a patient and on the pretext of clinical examination and history taking any one can fall into these traps.If a Doctor accepts theit invitation goes with them and extend his relations ,he is putting his legs in such potholes of extramarital relationship or friendships,chances of his blackmailing are mostly warranted and he himself will be responsible for this and no forum or association can save him. But in many time in OPDs and IPDs during clinical examination or doing diagnostic or treatment procedures cases too even without his any intention or approach Doctors can be charged of adultery & improper behaviour easily so doctors have to follow guidelines set up by Medical council of India for intimate examinations of a patient particularly of female patients.
